The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed that promised a good night’s sleep. The A/C was super quiet, maintaining a pleasant temperature. we encountered issues with cleanliness; the sheets needed changing due to pet hair, which required a call to the front desk. The coffee maker didn’t work, and the safe was broken. Noise from the pool area and nearby cars was noticeable but manageable. The location was convenient, but having to navigate such maintenance issues diminished the overall comfort of the stay. Despite these hiccups, the relaxing atmosphere was a definite highlight.

I can't believe I left my dress, watch, and glasses on the desk and now they're gone! I asked the front desk to hold them, but after multiple calls, I found out they mysteriously disappeared. Total theft situation—such a disappointment!

Friendly staff for the most part, great amenities, and beach access was great. The staff was always friendly and willing to help with any requests. The amenities provided were top-notch, especially the beach access right at the doorstep. Being able to relax by the ocean was a highlight of the trip.
Construction ongoing during Christmas, disturbing to peace and quiet. The unfinished renovations made for a dusty and noisy environment, not ideal for a relaxing holiday.

The staff was friendly, surprising us with a birthday upgrade and goodies for my wife, which was a lovely touch. The pool looked nice, though it often felt overcrowded. Beach access was a breeze, perfect for sunset photos. the breakfast was overpriced, and the bar staff was a bit rude. The hotel felt worn, with some areas in need of freshening up. Despite the quirks, we’d think about returning next time.

The room we stayed in at Sonesta was comfortable in some aspects, like the air conditioning and flat-screen TV. The parquet floor was a nice touch, and the housekeeping kept it relatively clean. we were disappointed that there were no ironing facilities provided, which made it difficult to keep our clothes neat. the lack of a mini-bar or tea and coffee facilities in the room was a drawback, especially when we wanted a hot drink in the morning. we found the lack of valet parking to be inconvenient, and the long hallways without luggage carts were tiring to navigate. The limited view from the rooms, mostly overlooking a parking lot, was not what we had hoped for in a beachfront hotel. The customer service was lacking, and we felt that improvements could be made in this area. the garden furniture outside was a nice spot to relax, and the tours and ticket assistance offered by the hotel were helpful in planning our activities.

Our room was on the top floor at the very end of the corridor, but the beach was very nice and the pool area had great amenities. We enjoyed our stay at Sonesta and had a lot of fun. I'll recommend this hotel.

We hit up the sick beaches and shopped till we dropped at the rad stores. Plus, partying at the dope golf courses was epic. With over 250 restaurants, we ate like kings! Definitely a hotspot for young peeps!
Wish there was a gnarly nightclub nearby for some wild late-night fun.

Our family had a blast exploring Hilton Head Island with its diverse offerings - from the array of delicious restaurants to the scenic golf courses and delightful shops. The beaches were simply stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for our unforgettable family memories.
My wife says that having a microwave in the room would have been convenient.

The restaurant served delicious and reasonably priced food. The friendly staff and clean rooms made the stay enjoyable. The gift shop was a nice touch, and there were plenty of comfortable seating areas both indoors and outdoors.
The maintenance of rented bikes could have been better.

I had the pleasure of experiencing various dining options, from seafood buffets to craft cocktails in a charming indoor/outdoor setting. The spa offered a true Lowcountry relaxation with local scents. The conference facilities were top-notch, and the new pools were a hit.
Who wouldn't love waking up to a view of a parking lot? .

The staff and resort were great, with manicured grounds and bike rentals on the property. the pool staff were attentive and friendly, and the restaurant on the property offered very good food at a moderate cost. Our corner King room was spacious and great, with special surprises for our anniversary, making it a very special one.

the sonesta was super clean and the location was perfect. the hotel staff gave great local tips and their communication via text was so handy. the bar and poolside service was top-notch - making our stay extra enjoyable.

During our stay at this oceanfront hotel in Hilton Head Island, we found it to be a comfortable and protected retreat from the weather. The staff at the front desk were friendly and check-in was smooth, although they could have been more informative about the resort's amenities. The resort offered free Wi-Fi in public areas, which was a plus. We enjoyed the pool area and the bike trail, which provided a great outdoor experience. The location of the resort, right next to the beach, was also a highlight. Additionally, there were plenty of restaurants and things to do in the area, making it a convenient choice for adults looking to relax and have fun.
There was only one elevator in the building, and we had to climb up and down five flights of stairs most of the time. It would have been nice to have more elevator options or at least a luggage cart available without having to pay for full valet services.
